Anyone have a guess on the % of pilots who get through their career without being furloughed?

So every single pilot will end up being furloughed at some point? I knew the ratio was high, but I find that hard to believe...

Luck of the draw and timing. Many guys go a whole career without furlough. Right now though the world's largest airline alone has 1 out of 5 on the street . . . . and with the race to the vocational bottom of compensation and prestige, many are never coming or "going" back.

Timing has a lot to do with it like mentioned above. Who the heck knows for sure. \\

However, 9-11 sure resulted in the whole industry being flipped upside down, instead of just a few airlines at a time.
