Do any of you guys know if any GNC type suppliments will cause you to fail a FAA/Airline drug test?

The problem with "nutritional supplements" as they consider themselves, is that there is no regulation of the ingredients, or of the claims of benefit they so carefully word. There is no guarantee of the purity, actual amount, or the listed ingredients on the label. The biggest problem is the "unknown" ingredients, often referred to as "proprietary blends" on the label. There's things out there that can affect your blood pressure, blood glucose levels, etc, etc. No telling if those "proprietary blends" might cause a false positive on a pee test.

I have no doubt that there are natural products that have legitimate benefits. The problem is that these things are cash cows for the distributors, because they sure don't give 'em away, and in return, they don't have to ensure you a damn thing. I don't even want to start with the potential for drug interactions.
