ORD gets first RNP approach

Who ever uses an RNP approach into EWR? I'm based there and I've never actually flown one there. GLS yes, RNP no.

Who ever uses an RNP approach into EWR? I'm based there and I've never actually flown one there. GLS yes, RNP no.

I got the RNAV Y 29 last month. Approach was assigning the STADIUM Visual 29 but granted us the RNAV Y after our request. Since it was night and we're out-of-towners, it was just easier to monitor the approach instead of trying to find those pesky ground reference points. Works good.

RNAV Y 29 still isn't RNP...

Perhaps your company's version is not the same as ours (RNP .16, DA of 461' and 1 1/2 mi vis?) I'd attach a PDF of our plate but I'm just not that good with graphics on FI. :0
