Just heard of them...some start up based in Orlando....

anyone know anything about them???

They had one all white MD-80 parked at KSFB last year. Never saw it fly. Dunno if its still there or what their status is.

Formally Capital Airways. 2 MD's parked in Sanford in April 2010. Capital ran some of the ICE contracts. Was shutdown due to being a 125 company and the contracts stipulated that a 121 cert would be required.

The crews went through recurrent last week and (apparently) have sked mini-evacs and proving runs.

Great. Another scumbag Florida operation where pilots with DUIs, violations, accidents, scab-status, etc. can work in exchange for horrible pay and work rules. "Falcon Air Express" comes to mind.

I saw a guy in his mid-fifties with an Orange Air crew badge and a luggage tag that said something like "So-and-so, Director of Training, Orange Air" on a flight from DAB to ATL at least two years ago. By then the rumor of their imminent commencement of operations was already being heard around Central Florida for a while.
