Guys/Gals,

I'm doing a presentation in a couple days and need opinions.

1) What was the most boring subject for you in aviation since you strted from Lesson 1?

2) What was the most difficult since lesson 1?

1) Fundamentals of Instruction.

2) MD11 systems at an ACMI outfit that insisted you be able to build the airplane from scratch.

Most boring Haz Mat, most difficult initial P-3 training in the 60's where you were expected to memorize everything and being new is was hard to figure out what was important to memorize and what was trivial.

1) What was the most boring subject for you in aviation since you started from Lesson 1? .... LESSON ONE.

2) What was the most difficult since lesson 1? .... EVERYTHING AFTER LESSON ONE.

Pretty much ALL book learnin' Sucks Arse.....However, learning the practical applications thereof ( also known as "flying the airplane" ) Rocks.

Unfortunately, in most cases, you can't do "A" without first having accomplished "B".

Just my personal opinion....

" But, I am slightly Dickslicksit so, like most Pilts, Readin' an Ritining never set well with me.

:)

1) FOI

2) staying current on regs and ever changing SOP at a mergined airline.

1. Aerodynamics for naval aviators is the most boring book I've ever read.

2. most difficult was all the math involved in getting the ATP written. only because I don't like math. finally got that stupid cargo pallet shift equation down, though. and I've used it exactly 0 times since getting the ATP, go figure.

Prop system on the CRJ most difficult, most boring would be that security recurrent crap every year. ;)

1) Airplanes are expensive

2) Airplanes are expensive to fly.

Next!

Most boring would be a tie between dangerous goods and the ILS-PRM video.

Most difficult lesson, how to survive on FO pay.
