Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say. I think the CRJ is a nice looking plane.

....Covair 990M Coronado and also the fastest ever among the subsonics Mach .99 as MMO and cruise at .97 and if you guys don't know what I am talking about you don't know anything about aviaition so the top 2's Concorde first and Cornado second...
According to the FAA TCDS, The 990M's Vmo/Mmo was 432/.912
The 747-400 is 375/.92
L1011.....................375/.90
Citation 750.............350/.92

The ERJ looks a little better. The CRJ's (100/200) gear is too narrow and sits too low to the ground.

I would take a crj over an erj anyday in both comfort and looks. You feel like a sardine in an erj. The avro looks like the mini version of a c5.

The best looking jet is the 747-400 followed by the L1011..

The worst looking is the md80.

IMHO the voting gragh says ERJ and a lot of you guys are mentioning the crj 700 SO I think the EMB 170 smokes ALL the rj's by far.

At this point I would take anything of the suck and blow design and get rid of the G.E. power'd swiss egg beater's that we work with now. Can't help it "I'm a Turbin-R-Us kid"

I so totally thought this thread was about something else...
