I was afraid to see what I wrote this morning...a little tipsy.

Awsome flying on the part of the pilot
Most likely a tail rotor failure. Depending on the helicopter and the airspeed (slower the airspeed, the more difficult to control), it is very difficult to control the aircraft. If you are slow and low (as this one appeared to be), you have few options other than autorotation.
