Below are the estimated first year costs of the most recent comprehensive proposals exchanged by the parties during the last negotiation sessions in May 2006.
ALPA – $23.6 million increase over current cost for the first year (a 22% increase)
** Based on ALPA’s proposals from May 25, 2006. Estimated first year cost provided by ALPA during the presentation.
Company – $3.3 million decrease below current cost for the first year (a 3% decrease)
** Based on the Company’s proposals from May 24, 2006. Estimated first year cost provided by ASA.
Assumptions for both analyses are:
Average Pilot Headcount – 1675
Credit Hours per Pilot per Year – 960
Not included in either cost analyses:
Retro Pay
Performance Plus
Restricted Stock award
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
