Latest rumor which has come from the sim instructors in Denver is that AWAC is gearing up for new hires in March. The instructors just had their monthly meeting a few days ago and supposedly management told them that new hire training will resume in March.

One other bit of gossip is that the next two new hire classes will be in the 146. Right now that would overstaff the 146 considerably so does that mean more 146/Avro's are on the way? Maybe...

Are some 146 FO's upgradeing to the CRJ soon?

Last I heard, the company was really REALLY short on 146 FOs in ATW. They might be staffing for that and any 146 FOs who would upgrade in the CRJ. AWAC is 146 scope limited to 18 (...I think ?...) and the last I heard is that they have is 17. With UAL in bankrupcy court the only way AWAC could get more is if the judge relaxed or eliminated the scope clause. Can any 146 pilots comment?

Ok, as a frontrunning poolie this is quite the tease.......how many Cpt/ F.O.'s are usaully staffed in DEN / ATW? Anyone?
