Midway Airlines

Anyone have any inside information on how things are at Midway Airlines? I understand they'll be going through the furlough list again soon. The last time I told them no thanks but now I'm not in a position to refuse!

From what I'v heard their new base is Washington's Dulles Airport and it's all about kissing US Airway's butt... No offense to US Airways guys!

I have a buddy over there that is an IP. He said things are going as well as could be expected. A couple of months back he was nervous about the aircraft financing. They were delaying signing the deal for some reason. I think they have about five a/c on property right now with plans to expand even more. I am going to call him today, so I'll pass along any other news.

Their only flying is as a US Airways Express carrier.

Actually, I found out that HQ is still in the RDU area and that their other base in in DCA, not Dulles. Five airplanes up and running in US Airways colors.

Thought I'd bring this post up to the top again. What's going on at Midway? Have they been addding planes? If anyone knows what the pay rates are, that info would be appreciated also. Thanks.
