Mid-Air collision near Boulder

News is reporting 5 dead after a Cirrus hit a glider tow-plane.

Cell phone video shows the Cirrus descending in flames under parachute (I wonder if it deployed on its own from the impact?) Doesn't seem to be much left of the airframe except the parachute and the tail.

What really sucks is the chute worked perfectly. I pray they died on impact and not in the flames, but a reasonable guess says it's the latter.
