Mesa 900 screwed the pooch on flare

Just about an hour ago I witnessed a Mesa 900 screw the pooch on a landing in calm wind in CLT. They went around and then I heard a old bugger on the frequency say " That guy almost lost that one." He was right.

Well, you get what you pay for.

Good to know that Mesa is the only airline that can screw up a landing. I guess the rest of us don't have to worry.

At least someone made a good decision in rejecting the landing. We've all forced a landing from time to time that we should have rejected.
