Hey there... lots of programs work for general aviation, does the iphone version work well for airline logbooks? There have been a lot of poor reviews for the iphone version... crashes ect. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks.

Logten and Logten Mobile (the one for iPhone) works great. It's had some development issues but any problems I've e-mailed the designed directly and resolved the issue within an hour or two. Importing from Logbook pro isn't hard either. Well worth the money.

On catch (you know there's got to be one) is that it is only supported by Mac, not Windows.

I have the Logbook Pro iPhone app, works great. They did have a few issues on the very first release but they got those issues all fixed and it's working solid and stable, I love it! I hear they are working on schedule import functionality so I expect that is coming soon. The sync system is neat, all done over the Internet "cloud" I suppose they call it.

It's good to hear that the update has solved the issues. After a few initial attempts with the app I gave up and haven't since tried it, so I'll go get the update now. My request to the staff at NC Software was to get the APDL for iPhone, and they said it will take time but they plan to do it. I think it is a great platform to use with an airline schedule, so I hope they will have it out soon.

I am a longtime APDL and Logbook Pro user and have been quite happy with them. My palm pilot recently quit so I was in a bind. I read the reviews and was a bit apprehensive but gave them a shot due to my good track records with them. I am glad I did. The program works as advertised and now I don't need to spend another $100-$200 on an outdated Palm. The poor reviews seem to come from those that didn't read the directions or thought is was APDL.

Like others, I miss the ability to import my schedule. I sent them an email the other day about and they indicated that they are working on adding the iphone to the schedule importer.
