I don't know anything about the LR45 or where you live now, but as a midwestern kid housing is friggin' expensive in Metro DC. Something to remember...

As anyone will tell you NoVA is very expensive. If you are working out of JYO, IAD, or HEF you might be able to find something out west that is cheaper. Your commute time might be the same as something closer considering traffic.

Make that, Way-Out West. You won't see lower prices until you get to the hills of West Virginia.

Why? You have a large area with full-employment. The main industry in the DC area (Federal Government), NEVER downsizes, no matter what the economy is doing.

Hey!!!!

I live in the "Hills of West Virginia," and work out of IAD.
It's only a 45 minute drive to IAD and about 35-40 minutes to JYO (Leesburg) from Charles Town, WV.

It's much cheaper, but the public schools are horrible if you have kids. Half our neighborhood either homeschools or sends thier kids to private school. If you have kids and can afford it, then live in Virginia.
