There’s a new ad out by a well known director/vintner in Northern Cal. Here goes:

Extensive international travel, can be away from home from one month to one year, we frequently relocate our aircraft out of country for as long as a year, must be current for the next six months, 2000 total, 250 jet, 50 make and model, International experience required, Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is helpful, French visa is required later on, clean record, no travel restrictions, and here’s the kicker: position is contract for month of December!

But hey, housing and meals are provided (how nice of them)

Basically, they want someone with no life, someone else to subsidize their training, a Spanish speaker that is eligible for a French visa, squeaky clean record, current in International procedures and paid for the course themselves, and won’t even be given an offer for the first month! Just when you thought the bar couldn’t get any lower, or higher depending on your prospective! Unbelievable!

How many dogs does he have that a prospective candidate would have to wash?

Plan on getting your boat captain's license, too. TC
