I'm planning on jumpseating over to London and back to the US from Paris. What exactly are the rules these days, specifically getting back. Thinking about using United, Delta or USairways card if they're still around then. Are the loads decent towards the end of Jan? Any other info?? Thanks

I just jumpseated to Paris (Roissy CDG) on United out of ORD about two weeks ago. No problems whatsoever. The crew was absolutely great. Coming back though I decided to use a standby pass, which turned out to be a good idea... they had a big security sweep for the flight I was on which delayed everything. I really didn't want to have to mess with jumpseating while all that was going on.
