Sorry, I did a search, couldn't find the answer. I've noticed on past flights jumpseaters, in uniform, remaining in the cabin until everyone has departed. I've been wondering if that's standard etiquette or just guys not in a hurry.
I'm going to be jumpseating in uniform soon and was just curious.

It's proper etiquette. At least wait until there's a long break in the line down the aisle so you don't slow anybody down.
 
When you ask for the ride say hello to the F/O. Had A United Captain actually come up, and introduce himself to me after he talked to the Captain in the jetway. That showed some real class in my book.
 
On transcon or trans oceanic bring a box of chocolate for the cabin crew. They will be grateful and it will pay dividends....
