Hey guys and gals,

I don't know if this is old information to some, but it looks like jetBlue changed the wording on a qualification minimum. Specifically it looks like the requirement to have logged 1000 hours in a/c over 20,000#'s has changed to "1000 hours in airplanes equal to or greater than 20,000 pounds (max take off weight)**".

Hope this is good news for some. I know a few friends that will now qualify (they flew the Citation Excel which has a max t/o weight of exactly 20,000lbs.) I don't know how many other a/c out there were on the borderline, but hopefully this is good news.

How did the interview go?

Well, I think....

Still waiting on pins and needles for the phase 2 announcement. Hopefully we'll all hear by this Monday.

what airplane had exactly 20,000 lbs max takeoff and was excluded before?

So the Citation Excel for one. I wasn't sure about any other corporate or regional a/c. It would at least open up some NetJet pilots that are flying the Excel.

Good luck to everyone.
