Could a newhire go directly to FLL?
If so how long until a line?
Would you get a line quicker out of JFK? I assume you would but I am not sure?
Thanks

Yes, a new hire could go to FLL. It is junior for FOs and senior for captains. Expect reserve to last 1 to 2 months before getting a line in FLL as opposed to 1 month or less for JFK. Lines are getting better (higher production and frequency) each bidding month for FLL, but the "better" lines tend to still be in JFK. Hope this helps.

There are also a couple of F/O's in FLL that are bidding reserve so they can work on home or other personal projects. That has been helping some of the reserve guys get a line. It'll change month-to-month, but with upgrades and such there should be no problem getting FLL out of the box, or soon thereafter.

Once you upgrade, expect JFK for a while. (At least until we open up the Atlanta base.) ;-)
