"Invest" in your own training? my guess is a GIV rating is a min of 40K these days.

$2500/month in training...

48K/yr after that. That goes far in New Jersey.....like trailer park far...

I like how it goes on to talk about "professionalism" and the fact that you still need to pass "company indoc" before getting officially hired into this stellar outfit...

Call it what you want...PFT, an opportunity, whatever.....but you gotta be a nut to get involved in that mess.

Just an opinion.

 .

It only takes 22 days to do an initial at Simuflite. I'm wondering if they make you do a 6 month "IOE" as well at $2500 a month. Hmmm.

Ummm...buying a type rating in a freakin GIV, for a 48k a year job? And apparently "aeronautical knowledge" is required as well. Don't see too many jobs that make that a requirement, guess it must be really, really important to these people. Sign of a high-class operator right there (sarcasm intended).

I think I know this company. If they are who I think they are, the reason they have the applicant buy the type is 1) they just got the airplane 2) they have had 100% turnover in pilots and management, year over year, over the last three years. Everytime they typed someone, the pilot moved on to a better job within months.

Gee, why would pilots move on after such a short time? (yes that's sarcasm too)

Now, I could be wrong, but the Millville and Ontario references make me think I'm right.

Seriously low pay and pay for your own rating. This place screams scumbag. Absolutely incredible if they fill this job. What does a G4 initial cost? $30K+?

What makes it even worst is that if you already have the type rating the salary is way below average.

Hey tundra, the ad states to send a fax to apply. I don't see the fax number on the ad. By any chance is the fax number in the (909) area code?

But it a great to get expereince and move on, it looks like a place from which to launch a career.

What are you basing that opinion on, the ad?
