"B" scale wages for Options pilots (already implemented for the transfers). 3am wake up calls. Out of seniority upgrades. (happening as we speak). Out of seniority furloughs (Per Kenn's video). Targeted firings of Union supporters and anyone else who is deemed a "misfit" in the OneSky CULTure (already happened, reversed by the Union). Please don't do this to yourselves, and to the rest of us. If the vote is NO, the darkness that will descend on the Options crews will make us long for the days of Scheeringa and Sanjay. Being organized won't solve everything, but it will at least maintain some limitations on what OneSky can and can't do to us. Without an organized labor force, they can and will do whatever they please, and it won't be good for the vast majority of us. Please vote YES, for the good of yourselves and of your fellow pilots.

I predict if it doesn't pass, you'll experience inner animosity unlike anytime in your past. You'll have some seriously upset guys, with reason, that aren't going to be providing that stellar service required by the job. Eventually it ends with exodus, voluntary and involuntary(no representation for at will employees).

Good luck with either way you vote.

We know that good contracts build strong communities. ...

It also benefits our children and our grandchildren. We are teaching our children that standing up for what is right is necessary. In fact, it is our duty as citizens to fight for dignity and respect.

There are many people who balk at the fight. They hide and place their confidence in the hands of employers. Management preys on this weakness by distributing promises like candy during organizing drives and quickly reneging if the workers lose the election. But management must be held accountable. As Teamsters we stand up and tackle the challenges that imperil working families.

My friend transferred to Flex and now that his PLOA is expiring, he wants to return to Options. He wasn't planning on being held in limbo this long, and he just wanted to return to Options. He just realized that delaying tactics favor the company now that the company has him trapped. He wanted an answer from the company and they told him not to worry "we have your back". He now regrets his decision to transfer.

He's probably figuring that the union vote is going to pass, and it seems both FO and FJ pilots are in favor of making them use their new FJ seniority in the merger. Seems fair when a good portion of them only came over to get into Red Label aircraft and jump seniority.

Even if the vote fails I am hearing their time on LOA won't count towards years of service, which may come into play during a percentage merger based on relative seniority.

It's obvious management used these folks to garner anti union support on the Flexjet side, so I figure it's only karma if they end up getting shafted by the whole deal.

ghost64: You don’t have to make any predictions…inner animosity has been here for 2 years+, ever since the uncivil and bully-boy IBT wannabes started attacking our well-liked CEO Deanna and anyone who questions their tactics or motives. If it passes, you’ll have half the pilots trying to do their best in spite of IBT attitudes…if the vote is NO, then hopefully we’ll have most all pilots doing their job unfettered by the horrible drag a union such as the IBT throws on a company they infest.

You NJ folks finally figured out the IBT is corrupt and cynical and in it for themselves only, and overwhelmingly threw them out and formed your own union. We can do the same (form an in-house union if need be), with a little will-power that our FPAC seems to lack. NJ’s is going overboard in their propaganda effort to influence a Yes vote…NetJetter’ s realize if we get yolked with the IBT, THEY (NJ) wins a huge victory as we start our race to the bottom.

GC: Nobody at FLEX has balked at a fight…the anti-IBT forces know what a drag the IBT brings to any company it infests, and FIGHTS like mad to keep this uncivil POS away from our doors. We haven’t been presented with any choice other than this corrupt, uncivil POS the IBT. NJ finally figured out their true nature and threw them out on their ear. Hopefully a majority of us will do the same.

The rest of your post is pure FUD.

VOTE NO!!!!

WL" You don?t have to make any predictions"
Well history shows what we can expect without a JCBA
Stagnant wages, reduction in insurance coverage, loss of 401k match, rolling duty days, productivity meetings, disiplinary hearings without representation, and the worst thing is returning to an at-will employee. I could go on, but if you don't get the point by now, you never will.

I don't know if anyone is putting any credence into what WL says, but if you are, you'd better check the facts on what he's setting you up for.

I'm not going to cover (again) everything he wants you to believe. Instead, I'll pick just one point and show you how dangerous what he suggests is.

He says you can vote down the IBT and then just form your own in-house union like NJA has.

Oh, so it's that easy? Huh, why didn't us NJA pilots simply do that from the beginning? What a genius WL must be for coming up with that thought right away!

The thing is folks, fighting a nasty contract battle (and make no mistake, KR will not go down easy!) is, at its core, expensive. WL wants you to think he knows a lot about our situation at NJ's, when in fact he either knows very little or is intentionally not revealing what he knows.

In a battle for a good CBA, you MUST bring leverage against the company. There are a lot of ways to do that, but the more public ways cost money. We used a lot of media to help us in our fight. Has WL researched what it costs to rent a billboard? To rent a rolling billboard? To put ads in newspapers like the Wall Street Journal (and even local papers)? Does he know what it costs to simply organize and put on an informational picket? As the fight heats up, the company will throw some punches too. Has WL told you what it will cost to defend pilots on the receiving end of those punches? There's also the matter of educating and informing the pilots which will require things like electronic media (our union has its own app for the pilots) and standard media (sending out regular mailings to the pilots).

The list is very long. A lot depends on how much you want to throw at the company and keep your own troops informed. So how many pilots will you have total? Less than 1000? Less than 800? Even less? With those relatively small numbers you're going to need to pay 15% or more of your paychecks into union dues if you want an in-house union that's effective. Or you can pay what we pay in dues and have an in-house union in name only. Or you can go with the IBT who will cover the costs of most of what you need from their general fund. AND you'll have the added support of all the other Teamster members during your fight (during one of our recent pickets in CMH they sent a tractor trailer truck over to drive up and down the road in front of NJA and blow the horn and make noise and improve our visibility. They came because other union groups, such as our mechanics who are Teamsters, were marching too. During our picket in TEB the Teamsters garbage trucks that service the FBO's weren't going to cross our picket line to collect trash at the airport until we explained that ours was an informational picket only. THAT'S what you can expect more of from teamsters!).

With the IBT you're getting an entire support system that you simply can't have as an in-house union of your size!

WL says vote NO and give management a chance. Well, you've already seen your management's track history. Wouldn't you be better off voting in the IBT and giving them a chance instead? A union decertification vote isn't any harder than voting a union in. So vote the union in, and if you don't find them helpful, send them packing.

Good luck!

That's not true. Flex/Flops pilots, can you see the lies management is spreading? They are so desperate for you to vote no!!!

NJASAP voted out the IBT because we outgrew them and didn't need them anymore. We were sending 25% of our dues to national and honestly didn't see a return on investment. Simple as that. It wasn't because of corruption. It wasn't because of cronyism.

Warlord19 is a management LIAR.

Vote YES!

P.S. Isn't it ironic how Warlord19 and B19 Flyer come out of the woodwork when there is an important vote to be made, then after the vote they disappear? It's disgusting.
