It looks like the Flight Options V.P. of HR will be spending more time with her dog at home!!!!

Lets hope that "M" will soon be spending more time with his gerbils and that Baboo will spend some more time at home disciplining his monkey.
(by disciplining his monkey I don't mean spanking him, that would be wrong) :D

Most don't know the she resigned quite a while ago because she couldn't stand being away from AZ. Shirtfinger told her no way and made her an offer she couldn't refuse - commuting back and forth from AZ (probably threw a bunch of money at her too).

She was brought in to battle the Union and MS wasn't gonna let her go until this thing was done. My opinion: this is a good sign.

I agree all of the little signs (more negotiations per month) are pointing towards the management finally realizing that a contract is also in their best interest.

Fly Safe!!!

Instead of more meetings per month--How about just making the ones they do have productive..Mgt just dragging their feet. They want to show that they are moving forward. Thats the game right--The new go forward plan?

The number of meetings per month is meaningless if nothing is accomplished in any of them. Scheduling more meetings is just mmgt's way of covering their butts so that the NLRB can't punish them for bad faith negotiations.

Call it whatever you want, but finally, somebody understands the process.

A boycott of the meetings is not a union stand of defiance. It is exactly what management wants as documented evidence to the NLRB.

Congrats on the good news! Your message is getting across. :) The NJ pilots discovered that more meetings at the bargaining table led to increased cooperation. Eventually, reality sinks in (that carrots work better than sticks) and progress is made. We all know that market forces can definitely make an impact. It seems that we are seeing two at work right now: 1) the FLOPS are having retention/recruitment problems and 2) pilot wages are on the rise with a new industry standard being set at NJA, and soon to follow at CS. It's now even harder to make excuses for underpaying the hardworking, professional Options pilots who do essentially the same job as their better paid counterparts at NJ and CS.

When you hold the moral high ground dig in your heels.

Who said anything about boycotting meetings? Nobody but you. The pilot union will be there at every meeting ready to bargain in good faith, even if FLOPS Management won't. Take your silly NLRB threats somewhere else. They have no impact here.

You have repeatedly demonstrated that you know absolutely nothing about FLOPS. You think that your wacko preconceived...excuse me....prespoonfed to you notions apply but, you know zilch.
