Hats: Sharkskin or Tropical

I need a new hat. What's the difference between sharkskin and tropical?

They are different weaves of fabric that look considerably different. Get the one that matches the rest of your uniform. Most uniforms are a tropical weave. The easiest way to tell is that a tropical weave is very smooth and consistent but the sharkskin has a kind of a jagged appearance.
