The writer has a terrific sense of humor... his editorializing the crew's career aspirations at key moments was awesome.

That is the funniest thing since Cousin Eddie told Clark Griswold that "the Sh---er's full".

And truly nicely written too, I had seen this story before, but not quite as compelling as this one, it only ended a little abrubtly, could have milked it a little longer....
