Have you visited the www.voteforFlexjet.com website?
There is a ton of information regarding this vote at Flexjet.
You owe it to yourself to get info from both sides of this issue.
This is an excerpt from that website regarding union dues;
Teamsters' original stance
We are not going to fire anybody over dues. We are going to treat these guys just like we have in the past, no one is going to get fired.
What they're saying now
The IBT Treasurer is sending dozens of letters each month demanding that the termination process commences for Flexjet Pilots over non-payment of dues, sometimes for as little as a few dollars. The IBT routinely refuses to explain its calculations to the Pilots and provides no avenue to address issues other than going to private arbitration (costing the Pilot thousands of dollars).
The Company's constant stance
The Teamsters should be transparent with Pilots on dues and treat Pilots with respect. The Union should always work with Pilots on resolving dues issues rather than sending a non-stop barrage of notices to the Company demanding the termination of Pilots.
