Yes, the words that were mentioned in the Chairman's Letter today were directed at the stupidity of the stand alone plans. In essence it stated that if we as a group think that we do not need the NWA pilots we are idiots. They need us and we need them for any sort of security in the next decade. With this I agree.
I think that it was an opening to come down below LOA 19 with the joint PWA. I guess we will wait and see. I still am quite concerned of furloughs here before and after the SLI. Thank god we both have airframes coming that need bodies in them.

Yes, folks will say the Delta pilots used their negotiating capital to bring the NWA pilots up to parity. They will say we left a lot of money on the table.

Lee Moak has a tough job.
