I was wondering if anyone has any info of the meeting between some FLOPS pilots and an aide to U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) who is holding the hearings on the FAA?

Is this true?? Or is it just a rumor?
What is this all about?
Are they going to mention FLOPS on CSPAN?

I can't confirm the rumor, but I do know some pilots have the ear of a high placed official linked somehow with the FAA. That person could be a Senator, or someone high up in the FAA. I just don't know which. From what I am told, they have their attention. Sorry I couldn't add more.

Good for us, bad for Mikey

I am wondering if he already knows. I have heard from some buddies that have MEL's with time still left on them, but to their surprise mx has them reposition to get them cleared. Now when has that ever happened?

I heard the same thing Frac Cap-folks are actually getting Mel's cleared before the clock ticks midnight on the last day. Perhaps he read the Cinderella story to his daughter and learned something? The paper trail of the real story at FLOPS is long and dirty-good luck to them trying to cover those tracks.
