We should be using bomb sniffing dogs at all our checkpoints. Much more effective/cost effective/safer than the see through your clothing scanners. If the dog sniffs something on you, you are sent to additional screening. Besides, dogs can smell fear.

Why did they decide to give up on the puffer machines and go with the nut nukers? What real threats do we have from someone sneaking on a ceramic knife? The pax will literally kill any nut job trying that crap in the air. The real danger is explosives and while I guess the nut nuker will show stuff hidden in your junk, it doesn't sniff out explosives like a dog or the puffer machines. The TSA is just going backwards at every oportunity.

I heard that dogs can't sniff out 'all' types of explosives.. just sayin...
