Ethiopian 737 crash

Do you know Ethopian Airlines track record? Didn't think so. By the way they are one of the very few airlines that are allowed to fly to the US from Africa.

I think this is only their third crash in something like 30+ years. And one of those was a hijacking. The second was brought down due to ingesting birds in the engines (sound familiar). By all accounts, Ethiopian is a very reputable airline.

Wasn't ET started by TWA or something like that, or in any case TWA had something to do with ET. ET is one of Africa's leading arlines with a very impressive safety record. But then again, if your were a bit more well-rounded you would know that, right ???

TWA has had a hand in it, Lufthansa for help with maintenance long time ago. ET has it's own flight school, training a substantial amount of pilots for other african airlines. They also perform maintenance for many other airlines. They always were one of the first ones to order a new type of aircraft: B787, F50, B757PF. Excellent airline, and as said only 3 accidents. One after fuelstarvation during a hi-jack, one because of birdstrikes, and now this one.
The pilots are very professional. Their radio calls are consise, to the point and very well pronounced.
If you have any africa experience, you'll agree that not losing any aircraft on this continent over such a long time is exceptional
