It's always interesting to see what's flying into GRB before Packer games (I used to fly MSN-GRB for games myself). Today, I noticed an ERJ-135 flying (apparently) non-stop from VNY to GRB? When I clicked on the flight history, it has this thing doing VNY-SXM (St. Maarten) as well as PBI-VNY, both non-stop, too?

Anyone have a notion of which version of the Jungle Jet this is?

It's a Legacy. The corporate version of the ERJ-135. They have something like a 3000 mile range.

Pilots. Owners. Sales people.
What else.
Stupidity. Motivation. Greed.

Can you use it in one sentence ?

Flightaware shows 3608 Statute miles.
N939AJ is a Legacy 600.

Legacy Gen 1, "Classic" Demonstrators (FL390, A1P Motors) - 3100 NM
Legacy Gen 2 (FL 390, A1E Motors) - 3250 NM
Legacy 600 (and Equivalents - FL410) - 3450 NM
Legacy 650 - 3850 NM

The Legacy 600 is a branding term. It roughly equates to airplanes with the "E" engine and FL410 capability. As I recall N939AJ (along with a few others) was built before the "Legacy 600" name was introduced but is a FL410 airplane and thus should have 3450 NM range.

YMMV.
