North security has an employee line, and typically is less crowded

Can I get to the whole airport thru T security?

And/or can I take my kids thru employee security like at dulles?

Yes... Entire airport. It's only the ticketing counters that are separated between North & South. And they're even connected via the Atrium.

On occasion, the crew line will be closed or they won't allow you to go through unless you are in uniform. Its ATL, be sure and ax nicely.

The ATL employee line is at the North security checkpoint (Southwest side). Enter to the right and stay by the wall. Yes, you are allowed to go through with your family.

Last couple of times I was there (pre-KCM), it was faster to go through the normal line - employees with their families and all.
