Did I Give Good Career Advice???

Hi yall! I just have a quick question to the FA's out there. I'm a regional CA and was at work last week when a ramper came up to the flight deck and said he was applying to my company for a FA position. I knew that the Southwest FA's signed a new contract a while back and I had heard that it was a really good one so I told him that if he planned on doing that for a career he should research their contract and maybe apply thier first.

My question is, if you were starting all over again, what airline would you want to start with? Did I tell him correctly or would yall say there is somewhere else better to start your FA career?

I think you did what you thought was right for that employee. If you thought your F/A's were treated like royalty then you probably would have directed him/her in that direction. I would say you did the right thing...
