Just saw the last flight depart KJFK on NBC.

In a monumental case of not getting it, as the great bird rolled into the Canarsie climb Matt Lauer prattled on about how the residents of Rockaway must be drinking champagne as they hear that noise for the last time.

Look around, boys and girls, we may be sitting on the high water mark of world aviation. All downhill from here.

Concorde was an ecconomic flop built with the same technology that we went to the moon with. When the ecconomy can support it a new sonic cruiser will emerge and it will probly be flown by regional airline pilots.

Matt Lauer is an Idiot.

I've always wanted to live on the extended centerline of some extremely busy airport. If the cabinets came open and the dishes fell out and the dog vibrated across the floor with each departure or arrival that would be about right.
