what bases could be available for A340 DEFO.

Yes, generally because they wanted to work here but didn't have the hours and/or experience to make DEFO.

so whats competitive for DEFO position in Europe or USA?
I have 3500TT, 2500 turbine, 1100 turbine PIC and 700 jet (A320). I was waiting to get 1000 jet to apply for a DEFO position in EU or US.
Would I be competitive then?( 3800TT,etc...)

I believe only YVR.
