How are the 15 Q400s out of EWR going to work? Are new hires going to be assigned straight into it, or Saab/Beech FOs move up? Any idea about routes/schedules?

the same way everything else works in EWR. Ground delay programs with a ground stop thrown in from time to time. Dont forget the NY skyline appreciation sessions you get while holding in the ballpark either, good times for everyone.
