Any reason Colgan would hold waiting for 2400 RVR when the ILS has a note that you can use 1800 RVR with a AP, FD or HUD? Besides the FD and AP being MEL'd in there Q400.
 
They were holding to make sure that you were minding your own business.
 
It was my business since I had to go around them to shoot the approach. :smash:
probably piss-poor altitude and airspeed control on yor part. I dont recall ever having difficulty by-passing someone in the stack if they were waiting for better wx.
 
I don't work for Colgan, but in general for part 121 you need to have specific approval for the reduced minimums given in Op Spec C052. Not all operators have it.
