The purpose of this job is to serve as Pilot in Command of the company aircraft. The Aviation Captains is ultimately responsible for the safe conduct of the flights to which they are assigned. A Captain must ensure compliance with all Federal, State,local and foreign regulations as well as company policies and procedures. This individual is the final authority in the operation of the aircraft. The Captain is the visible and actual representative of the flight crew and must act with tact and decorum while ensuring an efficient and safe opreation. 23 Average Flights per month / 22 Average Hours flown per month.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Certification for Airline Transport Pilot, multi-engine land.
a. 3000 hours total flight time.
b. 1500 hours multi-engine.
c. 1000 hours turbine engine.
d. 500 hours jet time.
e. 100 hours in type required prior to Captain upgrade.
Certification for FAA Rotorcraft - Helicopter, Instrument Helicopter, Commercial priveleges.
a. Minimum flight time as determined by the Director of Aviation.
b. Able to pass 61.58 check to Airline Transport Pilot proficiency.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Ratings required
Ratings on Gulfstream III, Citation Excel, Sikorsky S-76 preferred
FAA Certified Flight Instructor Airplane Single and Multiengine Intrument Rating preferred
