At Allegheny the first furlough bid since July of 2002 will be out shortly. Last week they had a letter on the company website asking for personal leaves of absence for Sept. They did this last year just before the furlough bid came out. Its hard to tell how many downgrades and furloughes there will be (most likely for Oct. with the bid comming out in a week or so) because guys are leaving. One guy alittle senior to me just bolted last Friday for Citation Shares. Several guys junior to me are waiting on clesses with Comair. I'm not 100% sure but I've herd that one is also waiting on Air Wiss. A few have just up and quit, which is saving them from furloughing for now, we have had a net reduction on Capt. positions this summer.

So to answer your question, Nobody on furlough right now at ALG. As for downgrades there remaines about 30 to 35 of us here that are still downgraded as of last summer. When the furlough/displacement bid comes out I'll post it for you.
