Citation CJ1 Captain needed, contract or full-time position available. Base is KHDN (Steamboat Springs, CO); prefer residency in Steamboat area, but not required. Requirements are as follows: Commercial (ATP preferred), 525 Single Pilot Type rating, 2,500 total time, 1,000 multi, 500 PIC Jet, 100 make & model. Competitive pay & benefits, We also operate Lear 45?s and Lear 60?s, and there would be potential for also supporting those operations as well (primary duties would be the 525 initially). To apply, please e-mail a resume to: [email protected].

Is this a new company? I went to their website and it just says "coming soon." Any chance they are in need of an FO? I'm drooling just thinking about living in Steamboat. I was out there for 4 days two months ago and I fell in love with the place.

That wouldn't work well in Colorado then! ;)

After looking at the regs, I was confusing needing a type to be PIC in a turbojet aircraft, not needing an ATP. It's been a long week...

So, does anyone know anything about this company?

I was under the impression that if the plane was certified about FL180 (Maybe FL250??), you had to be instrument rated, even if you don't plan on flying that high. Maybe I am thinking about something else...............

Nope. You just need to be instrument rated to fly in class A or in less than VFR in class G or to fly IFR anywhere. You also have to be instrument rated to apply for a CFI.
