Blackwater security has a CASA 212 on contract for a year going to Afghanistan, heard they were looking to mount a .50 on it.

The previously provided information sounds like an OPSEC violation to me.

No it doesn't. The AF has them. In a test wing. I have 5 friends that have flown them. Test flights.
If anyone on here discusses private secutiry contractors and obtains that information from open sources, it is perfectly legal to discuss.
No one who KNOWS what goes on in the Spec Ops community would ever discuss the aircraft or mission if it existed and/or were classified.
I know people that have flown them and they told me "I am in the test wing/group"
Re-read my second to last paragraph then look at my aircraft flown. I know what is what and I know better than to post something if I knew it. They fly test missions. That isn't classified.:)

Well with a name like "Seaspray" :)

I think they are flown from Pope and Hurlburt..I am sure they do sometimes "test" things...

Anyone know about Blackwater? Repuatble organization? Future there?

You'd probably have a better chance if you've done some time at JSOC, SOCOM, the JFKSWC, or in one of the Teams.
