UPS crash in DXB?

Just read that a cargo plane went down in Dubai trying to make an emergency landing. It apparently crashed on a highway. Unconfirmed reports suggest a UPS 747 (UPS B744 N571UP).

Came right over the house and is about 2 miles south of DSO just off of Emirates road. It was very low as it came over the top of the house. Pretty big fire at the moment. Doesn't appear to be on Emirates Road, but just to the south of the highway. Praying for good news.

Sounds like a UPS jumbo that did a go around off of 30L and reported a cockpit fire.

First reports suggesting its a UPS 744. Fire in the cockpit tried to land on a highway. No details on crew as yet. Missed a major housing complex by few hundred feet soaked the place with Jet-A. Presumably from jettison.

They missed Emirates road. Looks like they went into the villa complex that they are building off of Emirates Road. Emirates road is still open.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — An American cargo plane attempting to land at Dubai's airport instead crashed nearby Friday, setting some cars on fire and killing several people, Al Arabiya television reported.
