Judging by the skid marks it looks like the car tried to miss him?

Little bit of a conflicting report. The officer in the video says the aircraft was struck during landing not taking off. Very sad for the pilot's family. You also have to feel for the driver of the car.

No, but there is a US 95 (he didn't say I-95) that intersects I-15 in Las Vegas entering from the NW and exiting to the south. Do you suppose that was the reference?
