As a long time reader of his Neptunus Lex blog I was shocked and saddened to learn that he has been killed in the crash of the Kfir F-21 fighter he was flying out of NAS Fallon in support of Navy training.
Captain LeFon was one of the very best aviation writers I've ever read. He was very gifted, and was a good man.
He will be missed.
