C-5 Crash At Dover 4.3.06

Just saw the pictures on FoxNews. I hope everyone came out of that ok!

Thank God, it looks like the crew area is essentially undamaged and
there is no outward signs of fire. Hope everyone got out alright.

From CNN:
The C-5 can carry 270,000 tons of cargo almost 2,500 miles on one load of fuel. The C-5's wingspan is 28 feet wider than a 747 and the military jet is 16 feet longer than the civilian airliner

There is some SEROUS Aerodynamics at work here!

All seventeen got out O.K.

OUTSTANDING.

did it crash near the airport? Anyone have the wx report? News said light winds and overcast. I don't recall any serious wx issues out east last night.

Initial report said they declared an emergency after takeoff and were trying to RTB.

Those guys are going to wish they had died by the time they get through all the Air Force post accident baloney.
