did not know that the USAF was in the fire fighting mission. Do they train for this? or is this like FDR suddenly saying in 1935 that the Army would fly the airmail routes becasue though evil airlines were making too much money. After about a month and 4 dead Army pilots, the airlines started flyign the mai lroutes again.
 
They did not all get out. Two crewmembers in serious condition at Rapid City Memorial. Four of the crew deceased. There were six crewmembers on Maffs #7 when it crashed.
