I just heard that Brett Favre's father passed away last night at the much too young age of 58. Such a tragic happening so close to Christmas. The Farve family will be in my thoughts.

There is another article attached to the one I linked. At an interview with Brett's father he was quoted as saying, "It's hard to believe that the little boy we raised has done all this."

Really hits home, huh?
