Does anyone have any info on places to live, things to do, stuff like that in BHM? Any other Starchecker going there?
 
so you got one of the BHM switch hitter runs huh...

I hear they are still not sure if they are even going to fly those runs or not. Did you have a base closure or did you just decide to take your yearly move?

I too am now looking for another base, I learned this week that my run has been cancelled, and they are moving it to HOU. I am going to go with it when it comes out on the bid sheet. I am now going to have to sell the house and live in a darn apt. again. Oh well, that's the way this industry goes, just as you get to like a place, they screw ya'.
 
No, I was assigned that out of reserve. I really hope the run sticks. That really sucks they shut your base down.

I grew up in Trussville - great little bedroom community about 20 minutes from BHM. Try the apartments near the 59-459 intersection. Or maybe rent a house in the WPA Project section .....
