I have not flown as a crewmember into the Bahamas Islands for a long time. How does the process go now for scheduled US regional airline pilots entering the country. It used to be simple. Is it a major production these days and do the customs / security personnel treat the flight crews pretty good ? I understand that all crewmembers must deplane with luggage and be searched on all flights even if its a quick turn around ?

I did a quick-turn to Freeport about a month ago, and didn't have to deplane. It's all pretty standard as far as I know.

I'd suggest reading your company's guidance on that subject. Usually found on your "green sheets" or 10-7 page or somewhere in your Ops Manual. As you are aware, you have an Ops Spec for operating there also.
