B-1B mishap on landing - Qatar

Something went wrong on landing at al-Udeid, not much word yet as to what.

Heard the crew got out ok... that's the main thing!

Though, this is starting to become a very expensive year for us in the USAF. A handful of F15/F16's, a B2 and now a B1. And it's only April!!
There goes my bonus~

I saw a report that it caught on fire upon landing in the Deid.

Won't speculate further until the facts come out..

The airfield is closed to all widebody A/C due to no parking. Se we get to sit in HHN for a while.

I taxied by it today. There is nothing left of it. Apparently the bombs it was carrying blew it to smithereens. No injuries thank god.
