I was doing a little research on America West and ran across this disclaimer on their website:

limitations on our ability to obtain additional financing due to high levels of debt and the financial and other covenants in our debt instruments

This was a part of list of items that may impact the company's financial performance. My question is this: How high is AWA's debt compared to other airlines?

AWA's debt compared to the other majors is not too bad. Right now AWA has about 600 million in cash and has about 600 million in debt. I believe AWA is in better financial condition than it has been in a long time.
